about

Written as a Halloween holiday song in tribute to 80's slasher horror cinema.
We recorded it specially for our friends at the Oregon institution of craft brew Ninkasi Brewing & their new compilation release of Northwest bands who love beer.

lyrics

DAWN OF THE RED LYRICS

well i love the way that you scream
after all you’re just a man

well it lurched thru the waste, more mute than the moons face
the man’s skull still smoking, he yelled hey can you hear me

i can dig i can dig i can dig i can dig oh yeah

And this is what I hear-

It still beats, it still beats, it stills beats
Deep in ground

Dawn of the Red (still beats)

Will you listen to the serpents, such music they make
In my garden, the whips oh the whips bring delight

Well it put on the man’s face
And felt its 3 hearts race
Like a leper in a funhouse
The thing shrieked unholy

i can dig i can dig i can dig i can dig oh yeah

And this is what I hear-

It still beats, it still beats, it stills beats
Deep in ground

Dawn of the Red (still beats)
